Re: News Item; so many questions.

:
: click here for information about rumours that
: LVMH will be buying Aston Martin, from Ford.
: So now we know what to drive to the
: TAG-Heuer offices, for our event!!

: so many questions to ask: will we see more
: green watches? or will they be silver?
Refer to Rolex forum.

: what about the TAG-Heuer Mercedes
: relationship?
Original TAG--car manufacturer relationship:: Porsche, i wonder how many TAG-Mercedes watches sold?

: what will James Bond say?
"Q, i've pressed all the buttons-no Martini!"

: in the best British tradition of
: manufacturing, will TAG-Heuer now have their
: watches leak oil and have the electronics go
: hay-wire?
That's a little unfair, but every electronic watch i have ever had has failed!

: will the industrial revolution finally arrive
: in England? [they have resisted mass
: production all these years!!]
Oh dear Jeff, the industrial revolution started in England, Google: The Tolpuddle Martyrs to find out a lot more.

: will the new Monacos go back to carburetors or
: will they still use fuel injection?
Hard to get a car through the emmission laws with a carb, i don't think you can buy a new car in England with a carb. So i guess its injection from now on.

: will TAG-Heuer move their watch production to
: England (or will Aston Martin move its
: automobile assembly lines to Switzerland or
: France)?
Lets hope not!

: will Citroen be the next brand added to the
: LVMH portfolio or could it be Morgan? [and
: will we finally see a good-quality watch
: that uses wooden plates?]
Lets hope so! I have owned Citroens since 1972. Something which Americans have been denied since Ralph Nader.

:
: so many questions . . . so few answers. have a
: great weekend!!

: Jeff
Sorry it took so long to reply, busy weekend! IMHO, LVMH will be a good thing.
Yours, Roger
