Chuck & I had a pair of watch cases PVD'd by Jack @ IWW.

Unfortunatley during the process my case became contaminated by an old rubber gasket & , according to Jack, the PVD finish was terrible.

Jack had the PVD stripped from my case & had it re-PVD'd ( All at Jacks cost I must add - he's a great guy ).

I can't see any evidence that there was ever a problem with my case.

Admitedly my PVD was new & only a day or 2 old, but from my "experience", I'd say it can be done.

& yes, I still haven't put the watch together. ( "Stealth" Speedmaster MK II )
