Scan Day / Nov 24 / A First Heuer or A Heuer First

Our next Scan Day will be Monday, November 24th, and the theme will be "A First Heuer or A Heuer First".

Here's the explanation. We started with the idea of simply making the theme "Your First Heuer" [thanks to Ernesto], but that seems too restrictive. What if you hate the first one you bought? What if it's really ugly? What if it's no longer a part of your collection?

So that takes us to the second option under the theme: "A Heuer First". Use this part of the theme question to tell us about a memorable first in your Heuer collecting career -- the first one that you really liked? your first Automatic? your first "serious" collectible? maybe even . . . the first one you sold? Whatever is a memorable "first" will be interesting to our readers.

So that's the theme for November 24th. Show either your very first Heuer or some Heuer that marked a memorable "first" in your collecting.

So that you can plan ahead,

  • on Monday, December 1st, we will have a Scan Day, but with no designated theme (so post anything you like)
  • on Monday, December 8th, the Scan Day theme will be "A Watch and a Story", with the idea being that you post a photograph of a watch that comes with a personal story -- how you bought it; why it is a favorite; some memory associated with the watch; an ebay thriller or disaster; etc.

We will provide additional details relating to these future Scan Days, as they draw closer. For the basic information on how these Scan Days will work, have a look at
Chuck's Scan Day FAQs.

So dust off the camera and the Heuers, and let's see more of these great photos.

Thanks,

Jeff
