"Cronographe" on the date-only dial might be authentic: I've "inherited" such a Montreal from my neighbour who was not interested in watches but he was a MIG-15 pilot at the Hungarian Air Force and went to pension as the 2nd highest ranking officier. This Montreal also had "cronographe" on the dial. The story can be read on the linked web-site.
