This One Should Be Interesting
In Response To: monaco chronomatic ()

Over the last six or eight years, I have seen exactly two of these early Monaco Chronomatics [meaning that it says "Chronomatic" on the dial and has the squared ends on the hands]. I missed the first one, as the seller wanted something in the range of $2,500 and my limit was around $1,800. So I am happy to have won this one.

It will be interesting to see whether we can determine just what happened to the "midnight blue" paint, that Heuer bragged about in the literature! This one looks more like "midnight mustard". It should also be interesting to examine what seems to be the matching luminous of the hands and dots.
