what's sort of amazing...

is that the market believed that the watch was a one owner watch... (in no way am I saying that it was not) but there were no papers, box, etc, so where's the proof? Yet the watch fetched a big price (for originality).

I saw the watch and thought the hands were very damaged and the case and dial were only so-so...

I guess this bodes very well for the vintage Carrera owners.

I don't mean to sound like I know anything! Just thinking out loud.
