Thanks for posting these questions. It looks as though Ron has provided the answer on the question about crystals.

In terms of the fake vintage Monacos, there has been considerable discussion on this forum of possible fakes of the three-register manual Monacos (reference 73633). The hands may be too short and the markers on the dial may be a bit funky, or even out of position. (Click the link below to see the most recent discussion of these Monacos.) I have never heard of fakes of the two-register automatics (reference 1133).
