you really have a habit of finding these amazing Valjoux 72 chronos . . . with the black dials, of course!! this latest one is amazing . . . the purest design, with only the numerals and no tachy track.

can you tell me the serial number on the movement? also the number inside the case-back? it will be interesting to see photos of the movement.

I have recently bought a black-dialed Valjoux 72 chronograph, in which the movement is marked "R72" and it has the measurements of the Valjoux 72, but many of the components of the movement appear to be identical to the Valjoux 71. so it is probably an early / transitional Valjoux 72. let's have a look at your movement, if convenient!!
