I forget the exact details, but I am certain that Heuer made some funky '70s chronographs in this style of case (or something very similar). The details escape me at the moment, but this one may be genuine.
I will try to dig through some photos and files, to see what I can find, but I have seen this one (or one very similar) before, and confirmed its authenticity.
