As always, you can interpret this scan day theme as you see fit:

• The obvious scan subject will be your favorite gold watches (or maybe you wife's favorite gold Rolex).

• Next on the list might be the ones that you think will be "pure gold" as investments . . . what would you buy now, as a safe investment or as an aggressive / speculative investment? which will be the next one to jump up in value? Monaco, Siffert, etc.

• Or maybe share a watch that demonstrates a "golden rule" of collecting: "you buy the seller, not the watch"; "don't confuse scarcity for value"; "always split aces and eights"; etc.

• If you don't have a gold watch, how about something that has some gold accents, as shown below . . . maybe a Verona or Jarama?

• If you absolutely can't stand gold watches, you can even tell us about that and share a favorite steel watch.
