Breitling and Hamilton for Scan Day
In Response To: Gold scan day May 15th ()

I wish I had a gold Carrera or Autavia but I don't. However, I do have an 18kt Hamilton Gordon for the rare occasions I need a formal dress up watch and my best friend has this beautiful Breitling gold filled watch from the 1970's. Amazingly (to me at least), Old World Jewelers still has some NOS stock of this Valjoux 7736 equipped chrono still in stock at under $1100. I think they are a bargain. The watch is much better looking "in the flesh" than this photo attempt

The Hamilton "Gordon" is one of the few 18kt gold watches that Hamilton produced. The "Kevin" was another. I love the two tone dial which changes shades depending on the angle you view it at.
