Now I know What I've Got...

Ever since I could remember, my father wore this huge watch. Big, square, clunky. It was a beast, but I always considered it a part and parcel of my Dad. I was over at his house last week when he threw me an eyeglasses case. He said that this was for me and my boy to wear. Inside was that watch, which I can now tell you is a Heuer Monaco 1133G. It needs some repair (scuffed plexi, screw-off crown, missing button) but that big clunky beast is my baby. My son is going to have to wait a while before he gets it around his wrist. Thanks to this site, I now know what it is, and that I should be talking to my insurance company.

Cheers!
