Re: Registry can only benefit our community

Darren

Im not sure that early v late serial numbers make the same sort of difference
on Heuers as say they do on Rolex? Will they in the future, perhaps on the very ealry, but i'd say then its more to do with it being "different" in the sense of transitional or chronomatic etc...

All interesting though, to be sure.

: As overwhelming as the task may seem at the moment i beleive a
: registry can only benefit our community of enthusiasts and
: collectors. It would become a research tool appreciated by all
: from novice to hardened collector. It could well be a source of
: disappointment at first, as owners find a beloved piece does not
: fall within the 'normal' range of serial numbers associated with
: a particular model. But with an expanding list of registry
: numbers the collector may infact be able to use the registry to
: track down a watch with the complete opposite problem and thus
: correct the abnormality.
: I would quite happily support the registry and offer up my serial
: numbers on the provision the ownerrship of each piece remained
: anonymouse.
: Good luck with this task Jeff - i'm willing to help work on this
: project if it is accepted with positve feedback within the Heuer
: community.
