I Can't Recall Anyone Here (w/Halo) Saying, "Nice Re-Dial"
In Response To: Re-Dial Equals No Sale ()

At least for the community on this forum, "re-dial" does seem to be the equivalent of "no sale". I can't recall anyone here ever saying, "Yes, it's a high-quality re-dial, so I'm a buyer." Perhaps it's part of the "halo syndrome", but re-dials do not seem to have any value here (unless the buyer has a fresh, original dial, ready for the replacement).

: Thanks for the input. The Heuer logo is simply atrocious, and then
: I looked at the subdials and hands and began to wonder if it
: might be a cadge job or simply a fake. I guess a redial is just
: bad regardless. Shame to treat a nice watch like that, but it
: seems a bigger shame to ask that much of a sale price!
