Rare Version, in the Box . . . $5,500 is About Right
In Response To: Rally pair on ebay ()

This is the early version (fish-tail on the minute hand and "Monte Carlo" in script), which is relatively rare. The condition looks excellent, and the original box and instructions are also rare and add to the value. Double back-plate seems to be original.

All together, I would say that $5,500 (4,260 euro) is about right; very nice later version (with two-button Monte Carlo), in the original box, is probably worth $4,500 to $5,000, so this premium for the earlier version is relatively low.

Posted below is my "keeper" in this early execution, a triple set on the original back-plate.
