I guess any vintage Heuer enthusiast has to include some Carreras in his collection and despite it was not my first obvious choice, I was beginning thinking about it.
Then this one came up…. on Ebay, once again,
here it is, my new Carrera 1153N :

I confess this one was easier than the Skipper I recently secured on Ebay.
The head only was for sale.
Doing my homeworks, I sonly realized this one was from a respectable Heuer collector and received attentions by a well known talented Heuer specialist.
The high res pictures received from the seller confirmed it.

For some reasons, it seems this one didn’t attract high attention.
I can’t explain why, I would say it is in very good condition. The case has been refinished as it should, the doomed glass is original although it would deserve a gentle polish to remove a couple of tiny scratches, dial and hands are faultless, so are the crown and the pushers, it’s really been serviced, so why ?

Maybe the combination of the dial colour, the double indices and the hands type are not every Carrera lovers taste.
It is mine.
I particularly love the dark blue colour with changing shade at the sunlight and find this watch is very elegant and attractive at my wrist.

I would appreciate experts feedback on this one and any information allowing me to understand to which specific execution (years, catalogue pictures,…) it belongs as I was not able to find the exact match in my searches.

In any case, Ebay allowed me to reach 2 Heuers I love very much in a very short timeframe, sometimes, we can be lucky.
