Matching Hands and Markers
In Response To: Very nice indeed ()

Indeed, the matching hands and markers are one of the hallmarks of the Carreras. and once you see how perfectly the hands and markers match, then seeing a mismatch (put together) can almost hurt your eyes. recently, we saw on eBay a first execution 2447S, with the second execution hands, and these hands looked downright silly, to my eye.

I will have an interesting Carrera to share soon; photos only, as I did not buy the watch . . . an interesting "customized" Carrera (2447) with BW style hands . . . we will leave it to readers to share their thoughts on this "mismatch" of hands and markers.

: Hi David - another lovely piece gracing your wrist. I really like
: the design of the hands and hour markers. The way they match and
: are and extension of each other.
: Shows some thought at the design stage and works for me.
