This Carrera may need, at a minimum, say $300-$500 of work, the dial/case look okay from somewhat fair photos.
I initally was surprised to see it go for $2K, but should I ?
I noticed recently, a 2447D that was discussed here, went for $2.5K (better buy ?)
The talk of values for Silverstone's and Heuer's in general would, on further reflection,
tell me this was a fair value. The market spoke, it sold in true eBay auction format.
