The easiest solution would be to go for a perforated leather strap - just as iconic a look for a Carrera as the GF bracelets as far as I'm concerned.

It should be possible to add grains to make the bracelet longer, but you'll struggle to find any readily available and these aren't the easiest of bracelets to adjust. As far as I know, GF didn't make bracelets to accommodate the larger wrist - an unadjusted one fits my wrist at 7.75" but I think you're probably just beyond the adjustment available at 8.5".

A quick Google found a wrist size chart as follows:

Men:

* Height over 5' 5"
o Small = wrist size 5.5" to 6.5"
o Medium = wrist size 6.5" to 7.5"
o Large = wrist size over 7.5"

I've found plenty of straps that are long enough and I can usually take out a link or two from a bracelet and wear it comfortably too, but I have the feeling wrists are getting bigger - I don't have the same leeway with vintage bracelets and straps as I do with modern ones.
