Hi Sandra.
Hmmm, interesting one. Yes, I have seen this horizontal grain but it was on a Carrera 1553 rather than a Monaco. The Cal 15 Carreras are typically finished like that, whereas we're used to the vertical grain on the Monacos. The Monaco dial couldn't have a better provenance, though, and we're used to Heuer and their dial suppliers playing around with the finish of dials. Maybe we can unearth some more "horizontal" Cal 15 Monacos?
