French made chronos & the MOAT, for you Jeff...

The recent thread about the 'Frenchie' watches had me thinking about my Heuer Ref. 12.

To cut a long story short, I can't see why the Ref. 12 is listed under 'French Made Chronos' in the OTD master table, is there an obvious reason I'm missing??
The only connection is that the similar Ref.13-1 is on the same catalogue page as the French made Chronos.

(PS. The same goes for the ref. 13-1. I believe this is 'Swiss Made' too, but maybe someone can confirm?)
