Re: Cal. 12 problem - rattly rotor
In Response To: Cal. 12 problem - rattly rotor ()

The cal 11/12/15 micro rotor has a non jewelled bearing and not a very good design - certainly not designed for long term continual use if not serviced regularly. They are not easily repaired and are usually replaced. The last new one that I found was $150.00 and that was a reasonable price. I have some good used ones - $100.00 - install labor not included.

: One of my Autavia 11630's has developed a problem. It didn't feel
: right when I wound it, and when I shake it, it sounds like the
: micro rotor is 'rattling' around.

: Any clues??, hopefully it's something a good service would solve?

: Thanks
