Re: Can problems with Cal 11 be rectified today?

Most of the problems that I see in these movements is incompetent repair work. An average watchmaker will not get it right many times if he has no prior knowledge of the movement and no repair manuals. They are a LOT different than any other chrono movement of that era. That said, anything on these movments can be repaired given the availability of parts and proper service.

: movement but I am hesitant because of the problems that existed
: with it. Simple question: can these problems be rectified by a
: competent watchmaker? I mean: sorted so they don't occur? Thank
: you for your assistance.
