I certainly agree with Mark, the first and second generation Carrera's
are scarce to find as I try and grow my collection.
The market is small and I think folks are holding on to their watches
to try and determine values.
How many 2447 NS and SN, or Datos did we see in 2010?
Still wish the Bonhams on-line worked so I could have tried for Arno's 3647D.

: First generation Carreras certainly, but my feel is that the third
: generation (aka barrel) Carreras also had more interest during
: 2010 than previously. I doubt many will make the money of your
: fumé on the strap Arno, but then that watch was exceptional
: (one of my 3 favourites of the sale).

: more views. The CdG dials are a big selling point, unusually
: flamboyant for a Heuer dial.
