OT - Swiss Sunsets

Lately there seems to be interest in off-topic landscape photos. Here are two that I took that, while not directly relevant to Heuer, are indirectly relevant to watches.

Both are taken from my balcony from when I lived in Leysin, Switzerland. Both photos are untouched, no digital manipulation. The view is to the south.

In the first photo, you can see the sun setting into the appropriately named Portes du Soleil (Doors to the Sun) which is a valley that seems to cradle the sun as its sets every night. Truly spectacular stuff. Good skiing in Champéry, but then again, Leysin is pretty good for skiing, too.

The second photo is on a different evening and aimed more to the left. Prominent are the well-known Dents du Midi peaks which are both very unique to look at and very tricky to climb.

If you want to download a full-sized image of the first photo, copy and paste this URL in your browser: files.me.com/danomar/w49dv9

I wish I had taken some shots with Heuers in them with these!
