I'm no photographer - there's no flash & a standard point n shoot Panasonic camera - a Leica 28mm lens (I think), on macro setting.
I don't remember which model, it's a 3-4 years old now - but just a regular camera.

Aperture, I think it was set to 1/4 for some & 1/8 for others - I'm not even sure what that means... 1/4 second?? lets more light in - is that right?

I use a light tent that I bought on ebay for a tenner. That helps massively.
I then fiddle around a bit in photoshop to adjust lighting etc. (It's a bit of a cheat, but I'm good in Photoshop and bad at proper photography!)
