Thread in Which this Fake was Discussed
In Response To: Fake Heuer Camarro Ebay ()

For anyone who might want to see it, here is the thread in which the current eBay seller learned that his watch is a fake --

http://forums.watchuseek.com/f25/did-i-get-good-deal-60s-heuer-camaro-chrono-498861-post3655872.html

Here is sellers last posting in that thread:

My personal thought on the matter is as long as you clearly show what the potential buyer would be getting, and not providing misleading statements, then it is kosher. The original listing not only had ambiguous photos of the movement, but also specifically claimed the movement was signed, when it wasn't. I don't know, am I wrong here?

edit: Paypal sucks so i lost the dispute. Just going to sell it at a loss. I got a good deal on it to begin with so luckily I won't lose too much money on it. I figure I should be able to sell for $900 to $1000, maybe more. But I'll see.

Now, in the eBay listing, he refers to an entirely different WatchUSeek thread, discussing an entirely different Heuer chronograph. People do some strange things when they are trying to unload their fakes / mistakes.

: This time he goes so far as to link to a watchuseek forum
: discussion to authenticate his monster, the problem is that the
: watch linked is an R7734 with date, obviously and his watch is
: an r730 with no date and a signed WOG Walkmann Breitling bridge.

: Let's bust this creep once and for all it's at least the third time
: he listed this since his beat down here.
