11630 - Differences?

Wondering if anyone can shed shed some light on the differences in crystal gaskets between the cal 12 version and the GMT cal 14.

I tried to remove the crystal on a 11630 this evening and i'm sure the case is actually from a GMT, the gasket appears to be a straight wall part holding both the chapter ring and the crystal in place within the case.

All the other 11630's cal 12 versions i've removed are easily replaced with an "L-shaped" gasket, which sits on top of the chapter ring.

The GMT crystals are held with considerably more pressure and thus harder to remove.

I also noticed differences in the cases of both the GMT and the cal 12 version, the GMT having larger lug heights despite both being stamped 11630.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Thanks,

James.
