Mystery is solved

With help from The Military Watch Resource site I have got an answer. This is a railroad watch fra Soo Line railways.

The Soo Line Railroad (reporting mark SOO) is the primary United States railroad subsidiary of the Canadian Pacific Railway (CP), controlled through the Soo Line Corporation, and one of seven U.S. Class I railroads.

This watch was probably a gift from the Soo Line railroad staff to someone in 1940.

Next step is to find out who or what G.H.R.P was.....

Thanks for your effort Stewart, but I think Soo Line is the answer.

Regards
Jarl
