Vintage Heuer Military Chronograph?

Hi all,

I'm scouting around the internet trying to find information on this watch I recently bought and hope some of you might be able to help.

I bought it as a vintage Heuer chronograph and straight away I noticed the broad arrow on the dial which usually means British military? However, I can find no British Heuer military watch.

Further to this, I popped the back and found a Valjoux movement but with no Heuer markings.

So I guess what I'm asking is, is this a military watch and is it even a Heuer? Or is it an older re-dialed watch/a franken watch?

Any help would be very much apprechiated!

Thanks

Robert
