Great photo David - i think we need to get down to basics here and let a lot of the readers of the forum know the simple truth. These production model blue Monaco's (model 1133B aka the Steve McQueen Monaco ) are fantastic watches.

Colour, design, shape, size & individuality are all qualities that ring out from these ground breaking 60's and 70's watches. Whether you're into watches in general or specifically Heuer this is a significant model you should consider.
There are clearly rarer and more exotic Monaco's to own (Chronomatic, Transitional, PVD) but this production model is the one you want.
