That's more like it Amran, that's what the originally posted watch should look like.

If you compare the two, you'll see that the Tachy scale on the other watch has been refinished at 6 and 12 o'clock too, as well as having incorrect tachy needles in two of the registers. The gold plate is a much more natural, aged finish. The signed crown on a watch with a poly caseback makes me think one or the other has been replaced, but otherwise things look ok.

2448s used to be quite a cheap way into first generation Carreras but the prices have been creeping up, so I think the asking price was about right. Definitely seems so in fact, as the watch has been withdrawn as no longer available!
