Signed Crown
In Response To: Re: New Arrival ()

you are both correct - the crown is signed, and of course it should not be - fortunately a few weeks ago there was an auction on ebay of a watch makers box of Heuer spare parts mostly for 60's autavia's - in it was a bunch of crowns (most signed and one was not - it is the same dimensions as the unsigned crown on my A&F Seafarer and i think it is for a 1st gen carrera) I was planning on swapping the crowns out. And yes the watch is from the ebay auction a few weeks ago (nothing better than a poorly listed or geographically restricted listing for scooping up good value) - I think it would also look good on a David D strap maybe with navy & white stitching.
