Interesting, but I'm sure the other watch manufacturers and the Competition Commission will challenge the ruling. Possibly with the same outcome as in 2006, with ETA again bring obliged to supply ebauches outside the Swatch group.

It was always going to raise issues, rolling so many movement manufacturers together and then including watch companies within the same group. In many countries, it would have fallen foul of Monopolies and Mergers commissions before getting this far.

Mind you, if it means we see fewer 6-9-12 chronos, it won't be all bad...
