Would you trade your golden Carrera for a Budweiser?

Here is the story guys!

'Picker' lives in a trailer in the North Carolina, and one day he had the chance of being helpful to a tourist,
that was in trouble with his motorhome. Picker, being a good mechanic, repaired the failure and
the tourist was so geateful that gifted him his watch, saying to Picker that he could sell it and have a good beer.

Picker wore it as everyday watch, until last december when he felt in love with a new guitar, so gave the watch to his wife
to sell it on ebay and raise some funds to buy his Christmas gift.

You have already read on OTD about the ending of the listing, the seller asked me to cancel the transaction because he did not want
to ship the watch outside the US. I was so lucky to have a friend in the US, our great Jeff, that helped me in forwarding the watch.

Now it has been serviced and is fully functional, and i'm very proud to share some pics of my new jewel!
Watch comes from the very first batch of the 1158, 174201 to 174300, and still has perfectly readable serial, reference no. and hallmark.
It's interesting to note the many differences of the earliest batch of these golden case, they are thinner and have different location of engravings.
Also the tachy bezel has different typos from the others we have already seen.

On the OTD archive you can see how it was - http://www.onthedash.com/Guide/_Chronographs/63.Carrera/e.Automatic_Early/d.Ref_1158/e.Ref_1158_S_Second/

Here you can see how it is:
