Heuer Autavia C-1 2446C 3rd Execution crica 1969

Hi there, the name is Adam and this is my first post.

I have been a Heuer addict since seeing my grandfathers collection of watches and falling in love with a specific one... an lovely wee mareographe (sp?)

However, let me cut to the chase, i managed to stumble across as the subject title states a nice wee Autavia through a friend and have bought it off him.

The compressor case is original but very tired and worn, when the light catches it right it can be read clearly, stating its an Autavia, but the key numbers are very clear; the Ref is 2446 and the serial is 110443. The crown is also very worn down, sometimes i can see it says heuer but other times i doubt myself.

The only thing that i think lets it down is the strap, although a new TagHeuer leather one, is not original.

Whats your thoughts on this? I am looking to sell this, so was thinking of putting on the sales thread too?

Thank you for reading this!

Adam.
