BTW - the polished hands are a great (interim) improvement. Enjoy it !

There's also something very reassuring about the strong tick of these early Valj.72's. I dont know if its the shape of the case but there is more sound come from these screw back Autavia's Verses the compressor cased Autavia's. I love hearing it at night working away on the dresser beside the bed.
