Re: Heuer Digital On the way up
In Response To: Heuer Digital On the way up ()

Regarding the fragility of the digital modules, a life line may become available. i collect 70s leds, recently a german collector (Hanno- I'm not affiliated in any way) has been taking modules from the most popular leds, (Pulsar/ Omega, Hamilton, Synchronar) and retrofitting new processors to work on the original base with the original displays. There have been rumblings that Hanno is going to turn his attention to the Chronosplit next. Whilst absolute originality is lost with the retrofit modules, you do, at least, end up with a working watch. May transform the price of all those half or completely dead Chronospluts
