Great post Paul. Let the haters hate but I for one will be a proud Brit throughout the festivities and celebrations

: Today is the start of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations which will
: continue through the weekend, Monday and Tuesday which are
: holidays for us lucky ones here in the UK. Events are planned
: throughout the country and in our little corner of Kent we were
: treated to an air show that included the Red Arrows display
: team. It was a real treat to witness and all this pageant and
: partying is testament to what makes Britain great. There are
: plenty of whinges in this country but at times like these their
: gripes and moans are silenced.
