Yes, the dial is very refinished George. The shield shouldn't be inverted colourwise like that and the refinisher went overboard on the serifs on the Monaco script.

Some interesting lines in the letter from TAG Heuer (where the owner chose to refuse service...) though. They state that all the parts are original (I would beg to differ, even though the dial may be the original part, the refinishing means it is no longer the original finish. In my opinion at least. Immediately after that they say there are no more replacement dials, which is interesting. State it's original, then that there are no replacements. I would prefer them to clearly state that the dial has been refinished.

The letter also confirms that "all exchanged parts remain the property of TAG Heuer" so there's that policy in black and white.
