Ok Mark, thanks for you help. Unfortunately the owner has had a local jeweler value it at 12g !! so it's not looking like a reality at this stage but you never know. I guess the gold weight is about 30 grams plus add a percentage for an original early Heuer chrono movement and dial and where do we end up? I would have thought around 25% of valuation. I am up to speed re pricing on Rolex, Tudors, Omegas etc but my current knowledge on Heuer's is limited to my one Calculator. From what I understand from reading on here, the more desirable Heuer's are from the 70's. Anyway, we will see how it developes and if I do get lucky then I will certainly post more detailed photo's.
