Re: Viceroy Had a Shallower Case?
In Response To: Viceroy Had a Shallower Case? ()

Jeff,
This is my own observation.. so, I can't say that it's 'fact', but my 1163V Viceroy - it's lug area is not as high/tall as my 1163 Orange Boy, my 1563, and Siffert that James loaned me.
Maybe it's down to different case manufacturers. Maybe you can check yours?

Stewart

:

The Viceroy had a shallower case compared to the other 1163's
: (Orange Boy, Siffert, Cal 15 et al)

: I'm not sure I am following this point . . . Which Viceroys? All
: the Viceroys? Only the ones marked 1163V? Can you please
: clarify?

: I believe that many of the Viceroys were in cases that are
: identical to many of the cases used for the watches that you
: have listed.

: Thanks,

: Jeff
