As Mark said and now that I have seen the catalog page I can remember seeing both the Heuer and the Abercrombie version of this watch as an early version with the kind of pushers mine has and as a later version with the modern round pushers. This is interesting as I have also had sort of contemporary Universal Compax watches with both styles of pushers. However, I think in the case of the Universal pictured below these round pushers actually preceded the flat/elliptic ones, but that the stylish flat/elliptic ones were again replace by the more efficient round ones after a few years. Please correct me if I have it wrong.
