48215 (Ref 2446) and 48655 (Ref 3646)

Easy to remember -- Autavias introduced in 1962 and Carreras introduced in 1963 . . . then six years to the Monaco (1969).

Lowest serial numbers that I have recorded for the Autavias are 48215 (for a Ref 2446) and the one featured in this thread, 48655 (Ref 3646).

We have seen one of the no-name Heuer chronographs with serial number 47480. So if I had to guess, I would think that the Autavias started at 48000. Of course, they could have started at 48200.

We need more of the 48xxx serial numbers!!
