sheet of white paper / no trash can

the watch is held on a stand, and the stand is put on top of a white sheet of paper, on top of my desk . . . bright tungsten light, with reasonable white balance setting.

Like so many amateurs, I have tried shooting inside the frosted trash can (price was $3.97), but everything had a whitish tone to it. I couldn't get the black to look black, and everything looked washed out.

nest effort . . . PLASTICS, for diffusion!!
