Mine's got a round back as well, confirmed.
: I have a 537x. The serial number text and font is the "big
: style" font seen on early 2444 pre-Carrera's and other
: variants from the 1950s.
: Interestingly the case back is round, not a "poly" back -
: I think we had a post earlier where Mark "Carrera"
: Moss confirmed that he had seen a few round backs rather than
: poly back in the very early serial numbers.
