Autavia Bezel - Thanks Sharpie!

I recently received this lovely black on black Autavia from Alex, in fact its been my daily wearer since. Clearly from the ad photos, the bezel was not mint, although not badly worn. I bought this as a go anywhere watch so not a problem as i don't have to worry about adding to the marks on the bezel, but i did wonder if i could tidy it up a little bit especially as genuine replacement 11630 MH bezels are kind of scarce to say the least!

Anyway, there was no way I'd put any permanent paint etc on one as the effects could be disastrous and look awful as well as being irreversible. I opted for a good old fine point Sharpie marker, having used one previously to touch in various things like glasses frames. I'm sure I'm not the first to do this, but thought I would share the result as I'm pretty pleased with it. A quick removal of the bezel, pop the ring out and three coats of ink left to dry to ensure a black finish not purple, then line up and refit. Not bad for £1.29!

On the wrist using normal eyesight it looks great.
