Very Important

As a fancier of pocket and wrist watches the legibility issue has always been high on my list of priorities. I also think that legibility and style as Jack puts it, the need to be "good looking" go hand in hand. The classics in both the pocket and wrist categories let you know what is happening on their faces immediately. For me, there is nothing more stylish than the early 3 register Carreras (2447) or Speedmasters. They will be stylish forever. A few years ago I bought a newer Zenith El Primero because I thought it looked...cool at first glance. I wore if for about a month but during that month I never knew what time it was and I got rid of it.
