I'm Fine with the Nicknames!!

Hey, I'm fine with the nicknames!!

Of course, all of us have our own favorite nicknames [personally, I love the "Shauntavia" and Cal 15 "Exotic" names], as well as the nicknames that we do not like as much [for me, those might be the "Derek Bell" and the "Dark Lord"]. In some instances, they are very helpful, while there may also be times when they are confusing.

The "Great White" name is beginning to have a well-defined meaning, although it has

  • two case references (1163 and 11630),
  • two types of hands (Orange Boy [earlier] and orange-edged [later]),
  • two different aging processes / types of registers (black and tropical), and
  • two or three bands of serial numbers.
There may also be some confusion arising from other modifiers -- Cream, Orange, Milk and Chocolate. Sometime soon, I hope to do a write-up on these models!!

But when all is said and done, I love my "Great White", shown below, and I am convinced that it is all-original / correct!!

Jeff
