Cool, just downright cool

Thanks Jeff for another great bit of info on our beloved Heuer’s. Mick Jagger is/was a Heuer guy, how cool is that! McQueen may have been the King of Cool and don’t get me wrong I love Steve McQueen, but Jagger is well… everything cool. And as if any of us needed another reason/excuse for that next Heuer purchase.

So it would seem with the photos of him wearing an Autavia that it wasn’t just a one off coincidence that he had an early auto Carrera. It would be great to find out some day how got into them. I don’t think he was particularly into motorsports or anything like that so I wonder what sort if any connection he had.

I don’t know if anyone else noticed but in most of the photos the chrono appears to be running. Also I think I have a couple of photos with Pete Townsend wearing a rather Carreraesque chrono circa 67. I will have to dig them up.

Eddie
